Crossover Transitional Housing

Please note that we do not accept sex offenders. We are working on new housing for those offenders

We continue to move forward in prison ministry, jobs in the house remodeling and help in re-entry in other ways with the state, the housing part of the ministry is still shut down from the pandemic but we carry on in the name of Jesus ministering where we can!

Crossover Transitional Housing, is a house, established by the Lord, for men re-entering society from being incarcerated. This is a 12-month, Christ-centered, structured program designed to help individuals become productive members of society. It is a safe, drug and alcohol free environment for the men to grow in. We provide a home, a family and a church family, a home filled with love and Holy Spirit.

Crossover Transitional Housing provides the opportunity to cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ while receiving:  safe, drug and alcohol free housing, employment support, life skills, and provision of their immediate and basic needs.

Using the Word of God, intentional mentor ship and practical responsibility, honor and integrity, these men learn how to live free from their past failures and addictions. The men also may have opportunity (as spots become available) to learn some trade skills, so they may seek employment that will carry them through the program and thereafter. We also offer some real-life skills in employment, doing all phases of home remodeling, as we remodel houses, as homes come available. We want to see men become the men that God created them to be. As we grow, there will be more opportunity to learn these trades on the premises, as we build and grow and have equipment, maintenance, etc. We are working on acquiring a pouring facility for job opportunities in making kitchen and bath products to expand the job opportunities, and hopefully soon we will have more of that kind of work opportunity.

The group leaders do not take responsibility for anyone’s recovery or victory instead they teach and encourage the application of God’s Word. It is through the sharing of scripture and focused discipleship opportunities, that we find the greatest growth. There are rules. God has an order, but as the men stay in the Word and apply the Word to their life, God will grow them up as we encourage them in Him. We believe in accountability. The men are held accountable rather than ruling with an iron fist. It is God's guidelines for life that leads in the job process. We point guys to a Christ-like life, which in turn should follow them into the workplace to do a Christ-like job and to handle their families in a Christ-like manner. In other words, to do what is right and respect people. We teach what we live, we do life with them as examples but again it is up to the individual to build that relationship with the Lord and follow through.

Our vision is to have re-entry houses, a church/event center, an indoor riding arena for equine therapy, riding trails and camping. This will bring Radiant Lives Ministry all together in one location. Please keep us in prayer as this is a large vision.

Residents at Crossover Transitional Housing are provided the opportunity to develop and grow into a deeper relationship with God. The practical application of spiritual principles from the Bible has proven effective with countless released offenders. While at Crossover Transitional Housing, residents are encouraged to participate in daily devotions, weekly Bible studies, church attendance, and discipleship through a relationship with a Christian mentor. Residents learn how to be responsible on the job and cope with everyday circumstances that in the past may have caused them to offend.

We have camp outs (when possible), where we have Bible study outdoors and the guys can ride horses and/or go fishing, and just get back to nature in the peace of God.

We also look forward to establishing a women’s ministry in the future.
